Oliver is a large brown tabby domestic shorthair male neutered and is about 12 years old, in really good health. He is extremely friendly. One notable characteristic is that he end of his tail is damaged so that he cannot straighten the very tip. He also has a habit of pulling the hair off his back.
He was last seen Wednesday Jan 6th, 2010 on Steiner Street in Fairfield (between High Ridge and Woodridge roads close to the Fairfield Woods Library).

| TROOPER LOST IN SHELTON, CT - PLS. HELP FIND HIM
I found trooper back in early November traveling with a pregnant female dog. Trooper had a serious injury to his right front leg as well as his back leg. It took two days but we were able to catch trooper and get him to the vet. Upon arrival he was treated for shock and we were not sure if his front paw was going to be able to be saved or amputated. after leaving trooper at the vet I went back to the area of rt. 8 to try and get the female dog and in the length of time I was transporting trooper to the vet the female dog was killed by a car on rt8 so upon my arrival I found her mangled with pups still in their sacs .needless to say it was a heartbreaking sight. No one ever called for either dog (very scared of people). After much effort on the part of our vet trooper's leg was saved and I brought him home to nurse him back to help. Amazingly after the injury trooper has a scar on his leg and his back leg you have to look close to see his injury. On Saturday I thought it was the right time to let trooper go to his new home and now he has totally vanished. I know the family who adopted him and they said he had a black nylon choke collar and leash on when he disappeared. I am heartbroken not knowing where he is after all we've been through together. He is a terrier type dog approx. 30 lbs and scared of people. He had become more trusting while I was caring for him but I am afraid he'll go back to be scared now that he is alone. | LOST BLACK LAB - named MAX - Milford, CT area
I have lost my 2 and a half year old pure-bred Black Lab. He got out on 11/22 - Thanksgiving night after 8 and disappeared from Merwin Avenue area in Milford (Live Oaks area) on the West Haven Milford line. He is an un neutered male. He has a red collar with little glow in the dark bones on it. He is very friendly and glossy beautiful. We rescued Max 2 years ago from upstate New York. He is very very loved and we are heart broken by his disappearance. I have attached his photos in case someone brings him in. Our Vet is Baybrook Animal Hospital in Milford.
